| About Osian |
| |
Camp Thar- Osian is a resort for the senses specializing in exclusive Deluxe Camel Safari's and mobile camping anywhere in the Great Indian Desert "Thar ", Rajasthan.
The promoters come from chivalrous Rajput family and hospitality happens to be in the blood. The camp team and the present management have over ten years of experience in the camping business. This is an organization that understands hospitality and loves to pamper its guests. Over the years they discovered a niche in the in the prevailing safaris being conducted, and felt the immediate need to increase the comfort level for the tourist.
The promoters and management believe that the remote interiors are where the real India is - away from the hustle and bustle of the commercialized towns and cities. Their endeavor is to take guests off the beaten tourist's tracks into the desert to remote villages, "Dhanis" (Hamlets) and remote areas of the "Thar" where time seems to have stood still. Here one gets to see and meet different tribes, the hard and rugged people of the Thar braving the odds of the desert in Rajasthan. |
